I believe that we all have an inner compass that points toward contentment and life satisfaction, but sometimes, it gets clouded over, stuck or even broken. Life throws curveballs. Transitions are difficult, and we do the best we can to manage. Allow me to support you, as you find your self-compass and experience the deep comfort and confidence that comes from its direction.
Through our work together, we will build upon your strengths, explore your inner landscapes of emotion, thought, belief, and history, replenish with new tools, and most importantly, experience positive results. You will find that patterns happening now make more sense... choices and decisions before you become clear... and your next steps unfold more authentically and naturally.
My approach brings together a number of evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic psychotherapy, emotion-focused therapy and most recently, Accelerated Dynamic Experiential Psychotherapy (AEDP), in which I am a Level II clinician. "There is no better way to capture the ethos of AEDP than to say this: we try to help our patients and ourselves become stronger at the broken places. By working with trauma, loss, and painful consequences, we discover places that have always been strong, places that were never broken." - www.aedpinstitute.org:
